Welcome to the world of Banh Mi Ba Le, a Filipino-International Grocery located in Roseville, CA. This hidden gem may not have a sit-down option, but that doesn't take away from the exquisite flavors packed into their banh mi sandwiches.

As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I can confidently say that Banh Mi Ba Le has stolen my heart with their flavorful sandwiches and friendly service. If you're in the area, don't miss out on the opportunity to indulge in the delicious offerings of Banh Mi Ba Le.

My mouth is so happy when i get their food! You cant eat there but you can eat in your car if your like me and just cant wait to get home. I used to go here during the week. Sadly they are only open on weekends now. But i have happy weekends now. I ate bahn mi all over Vietnam, they were TERRIBLE! Ba Li is the BEST!

Still my favorite BANH MI shop! When placing a large order, you can always call them and place it ahead of time. PARKING: They have parking in the back with cameras for you to watch while you're in line inside for waiting for your order. Otherwise there is free street parking but watch where you step! Don't park in front because of the bus stop. You still get a ticket. Here are my go to sandwiches: #2 SPECIAL HAM COMBO - $5.60 It has all the types of meats and I appreciate the amount of pate and aoili. The pickled veggies are made to perfection and the bread isn't too thick. So the ratio between the bread, toppings and fillings are perfect. I suggest when ordering a few, ask for the pickled items and veggies (cucumber, peppers, and cilantro) or be packed separately. That way your sandwich doesn't get soggy and you can enjoy your sandwich the next day. #13 MEATBALL & EGG - $7.00 This warm sandwich is actually not balls of meat but more like minced meat that is sweet and savory. It's really Xiu Mai, and it goes so wall with the fried egg and the usual toppings (pickled daikon and carrots, cilantro, and cucumbers). I love BANH Mi BA LE so much. I can see why they only need to be open Fri-Sun and I wish it was in a better neighborhood for me to feel safe. But hey this is why I don't go alone.

PORTIONS: filling and hearty PRICE: appropriate, maybe even a steal! SERVICE: counter style SURROUNDINGS: not a sit-in restaurant, 2-3 benches along the left wall FLAVORS: #2 special combo (10/5 ) I have lived in 3 states in 3 cities with major Asian populations and this THE BEST BANH MI I've had ever. From the first bite, I got the WOW factor I always search for that flavor that earns a perfect score. I was losing hope I'd ever find it again! Bun thit nuong - grilled pork vermicelli bowl (5/5 ) husband loved it so much he made me feed it to him while he drove because he couldn't wait BONUS TIP: parking along the side of the building AND a lot behind with a large security display in the store so you can watch while you're in line to order

The first time I reviewed Banh Mi Ba Le was 5 years ago, and I love this place just as much as I loved it the first time I had it. What's more is I don't think their prices have even changed much, it's surprising how affordable everything is here. There's lots to love about this place but them taking credit card and having staff that speak English is definitely a huge pro! The lines can get long so if you know what you want, you can order in advance and pick up so you can skip the line. I've tried the banh mi dac biet, egg rolls, meat pies, spring rolls, banh khot, durian shake, flan, and soymilk. All of it is so good!

I have been coming here as a child ! Since before it relocated here. The people are still kind and work fast. The quality is still delish . I'm obsessed with the baguette and the mayo. The prices are just so damn hard to beat as well! I wish it was opened more than those three days but I will take what I can get we came on a Saturday an hour before closing and the wait wasn't bad at all!

Really great spot to pick up banh mi sandwiches. The staff are friendly and helpful with the ordering process. Not a ton of space inside, but the food comes out quick and you aren't waiting around for too long. The #20 grilled pork with lemongrass is a consistent hit and I'd come back just to get another one if I'm in the area. Decent amount of parking nearby, and they also have a lot in the back as well. I'd recommend coming in early in the day to avoid the crowds.

I've had this banh mi spot bookmarked for years! I always forget about it until it's too late and they're already closed. Haha. Well, this weekend, I thought about Banh Mi Ba Le early and made it a point to check it out. The line had about 8 people in front of us but went rather quick. Lots of peeps ordering 10+ banh mi. We got 2 combos and 1 meatball. Street parking and lot parking available. For around $5, you're getting the best overall banh mi in the Bay. The bread was crunchy but soft. The meat, pate, and veggies were spot on. I was hoping for more desserts but I prob went here a little too late in the day. Sketchy area? Yes...but absolutely worth a trip. Oh, and my fave was definitely the combo!

My favorite spot for Banh mi, I can't get it anywhere else now. #4 Cha lua with pate and extra butter mayo Parking is so convenient now, if you came here for a while, they never used to have the parking lot in the back and it was always a battle to find parking. Today, my avocado shake was good BUT I can taste a hint of jackfruit, maybe they didn't rinse it well or forgot to rinse the blender. My banh mi was delicious, banh pate so and egg rolls, yummy as well. I like to go in the morning when the line isn't crazy, if you come here during lunch, you'll get a line out the door. Enjoy~

Top notch banh mi. IMO the best in the east bay, no competition. And it's still so affordable! It's sad since the pandemmy they reduced their hours so be sure to check the website before coming through. Lines on the weekend are almost always long, but it moves fast. Banh Mi Dac Biet or bust! The only thing I won't order again is the nuoc mia sugarcane juice, but it could have been that I was praying for it to wash away my hangover and ended up just tasting metallic. Their cafe sua da is pure jet fuel.
